The Bioscreen is a very robust and reliable system, that with some regular service will run for many years and provide its users with effective data for their growth curves experiments. We’re now very proud to be able to offer users a more complete set of choices regarding also the software side. This has long been the weakest link for the instrument, but thanks to very good feedback from numerous users, we’ve now tried to satisfy the different needs in the best possible way.

This is done by offering all users a basic tool to operate the instrument and gain access to the results. Some users find this enough for their needs, while others require more. We now hope to better comply with their needs as well and believe they will be more than happy with the multiple features the new commercial Norden Logic SW offers.

The Bioscreen C Micro Biology Reader is delivered together with the EZExperiment software, which is a basic tool for running the instrument and its functions. It enables among other things the use of basic shaking functions, choice of filter settings and the setting of the temperature for up to 200 samples. It’s not however a serious tool for analysis.

The more comprehensive choice is the Norden Logic Professional software, which fulfils rigorous quality requirements and comes equipped with up to 40 pre set shaking functions, choice of sample wells, multiple filter options, workshops to further modify the results and superb graphic capabilities in both 2D and 3D just to mention a few of its many functions. This is a commercial software you can order from us either together with the instrument or as a separate software product for your current Bioscreen already in use.
