Bioscreens are used to monitor the growth of pure and mixed bacteria cultures and to check the effect of single or multiple parameters such as temperature and different chemicals.

The range of applications spans a wide spectrum – from miniaturized bioassay of vitamins to antibiotics and amino acids etc. It is used for studies of effect of chemicals on pure and mixed cultures, development of antibiotics, QC for food measuring total count - CFU/g and other alike.

Examples of applications:

Follow on a PC screen the growth (turbidity development) of 200 cultures simultaneously by simultaneous recording of growth curves parameters
