Honeycomb 2 Plate
9502550
The sterile Honeycomb 2 plate is packed in a sealed plastic pouch packed in boxes containing 100 sterilized plates each. The sterilization is done by radiation with gamma rays. It uses a unique micro-plate format of 10x10 wells, the so called "Honeycomb" format, which is especially well suited for highly accurate temperature control.
The plate has a specially designed lid closing each well so that there is no spill-over. This design also allows for anaerobic measurements, as the lid can be closed with silicone glue and enabling identical anaerobiosis in all wells.
The plates are not autoclavable, as the size of the plate will change during autoclaving causing problems in fitting the incubator lid.
